What did I get into this week?

Played less Fate/Unlimited Codes & Tekken 2 and a bit more Sunday vs Magazine for whatever reason. Just getting ready for Smash 3DS and such. The week coming should bring a bit more gaming with me taking Eliza for a spin, some Ultimax if I feel like it and who knows what else. You'll find out about it next week.

The postmortems come just as the new stuff comes to replace it.

Gaim lived up to the hype. Could've done without the epilogue episode in trade for an extension of the 2 preceding episodes but the DC & movie will provide what it is I need to be satisfied with a Gaim ending. A must watch!

We also say a dandy goodbye to Space Dandy and that show was bonkers from start to finish and stands up as one of the best anime experiences I've ever had and if you haven't then you should get in on this ASAP!

Ray Donovan! Still the best show on TV! Season 2 killed it and I'm satisfied as a fan and I just want more. The good news is that its almost time for Banshee which is just as wild as Ray Donovan so hyped all around!

TMNT is killing it right now. Weird schedule for the show which is normal for Nick but I'm glad I caught the finale because I love that the show leans to the different incarnations of the franchise which also has be doubly excited for the WayForward game that'll be dropping later this year. So if you haven't been watching the show then it might be a good time to get in on this before Season 3 starts this week alongside Korra Book 4.

Dallas killed it as well. Season 4 is going to be bonkers! Too much stuff spoiler wise happened for me to even talk about but damn as a fan I'm hyped for next season! KNOW THIS!!!

In order to prepare for Season 4 of Once Upon A Time is that I watched Once Upon A Time in Wonderland & Frozen and glad I did both. In Wonderland was a great inclusive story that tied into the main series without needing it as a crutch to stand on. You of course get more out of it being familiar with the main show but I enjoyed watching it and hope we get more spin-offs of the main show.

After watching Frozen is that I get why people like it. I understand why people get hype over Let It Go. It is a good musical and I'm glad I watched it.

Season 4 of Once Upon A Time got straight to the business and it made me glad that I watched Frozen because of how they handle the characters in this space. Things happened the whole episode so I'm hyped for this season so here's hoping it delivers.

The Simpsons Guy lived up to the hype and then some. A great crossover that served the purpose of a crossover and that's all you can ask for.

All the other usual suspects doing what they're doing and ToQger, Girl Meets World, Bleach & Naruto will be joined by their Fall friends and I can't wait for it! SO HYPED!!!

#TheCool's ready to what it does on this extended week edition. So the last 11 days are mine to archive so let us get right to it!

This week's wise words come from a bit of personal space. I am a man of silence and one with the shadows as it were. I enjoy the peace and quiet and hate when that nature is disturbed but in some cases noise is made and you just have to roll with that. A lot of noise was made this weekend because of something I uploaded and it was just a huge reminder of why I roll like I do. It isn't easy being the biggest blip on the radar while at the same time staying completely off it but most of the time I make it work. I saw the trap from both sides long ago and decided I didn't want part of either side so I took to my own corner and made that work but even then that world and mine are bound to cross and this was such a case. I take the lesson for experience as I always do but what you need to take from it is simply don't let what others do disturb your motion. If you're moving keep doing that and if you've been stopped for whatever reason then get the motion back because there's no reason in this life to ever be still.

What's your folks been up to?

Playing an unhealthy amount of Fate/Unlimited Codes & Tekken 2 on PSP for reasons I wish I could explain. I'll keep rocking with them until I wish to move to something else.

Before that, I was all in that Smash 4 demo giving nothing but love to Mega Man & Villager. #FearThisTree! Game seems cool but I need that full version so I can get in the lab with the rest of the cast and see what it is that they do and it was a damn shame to hear about Popo & Nana. Hopefully, DLC gets them back on the Smash stage!

We're in that transition time where shows are coming to end like Gaim & Ray Donovan and I'll have postmortems next week on those.

The usual Fall suspects will follow to replace those which includes Kamen Rider Drive which I'm pretty hype for because the team behind W are all in this one so that should be a treat.

Speaking of ends or in this case To Be Continued in January is that Arc 1 for Stardust Crusaders just finished and for a fan of the franchise the manga is getting the justice done in this medium and I'm hype for the 2nd half and Diamond is Unbreakable to follow so can't wait!

Naruto is gearing that end up and we're still wondering is Bleach ever going to end?

Played some Dominated Mind on the PSP on the random too. I've wanted to do something with Final Impacts just to show them off and how they work. So be watching for the random day this happens.

The usual suspects are up to no good and with some humongous character development in Gaim, Dallas & Naruto that you could've saw coming. An episode of Space Dandy that gave me a bout of the feels. Ray Donovan still going complete hamster. Mayuri is clowning in Bleach town. ToQger is just there to be there I suppose and I'm knocking down that Freezing backlog one chapter at a time.

#TheCool's back up in it for another go and we're just that. Ready to go!

Before we get into the usual usual is that I want to talk a bit about what this week's subtitle is all about. At this point its no secret as to what happened this week with all those "leaks" as it were. Here's the thing though. Even with technology steadily evolving and existence along side it is that there's been this special technology that's been around forever. It's called common sense. A lot of these crazy things that happen on the internet could easily be solved with some forethought and common sense. Common sense would let you know that because you're sending something electronically to somebody else is that somebody else could find that information if they wanted to. Knowing that a "magical cloud" that stores all of this data exists is that knowing that one day the sky could come falling down one day. Hell, its been too many times where somebody's been on the tail end of having their lives ruined because they've attracted unwanted attention to the situation at hand. The internet, while still a place of boundless knowledge is hardcore and ruthless at the same time and you've got to have the foresight and common sense to avoid the pitfalls that come with it. What I'm saying doesn't mean to fear this wonderful tool but to be cautious of how powerful this tool is and how others choose to use the tool at their disposal. Protect your neck or lose your head!

Speaking of Full Boost is that Cucuruz Doan in the MS-06J Zaku II Ground Type, Roux Louka in the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam & Patrick Colasour in the GNX-609T GN-XIII will be making the jump to Full Boost soon as well.

Azure Striker Gunvolt & Mighty Gunvolt are both out on the eShop now and the beta for Mighty No.9 is out for backers as well. We'll talk a bit more about the latter a bit later.

This week in Persona brings us another peek at Persona 5 and a look at the cast of Ultimax.

Shulk has been confirmed for Smash. Allegedly is that there are other characters we don't know about beyond the leaks. We'll see how that plays out.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is still coming and this trailer is proof of such. Looking good, looking good. It still drops in December.

Speaking of HD Remakes and such is the GC/Wii version of Resident Evil is getting an update for PS3/4/360/XBONE sometime in 2015. Should be interesting to see what gets changed from that version to this one.

Still speaking of last-gen making the hop to next-gen is that DoA5 is doing just that with Last Round coming to PS4/XBONE. From what's to be currently understood is that your DLC will carry over to this version just like their other offerings have done recently. What this means for the current product is unknown at this time but when it comes I'll let you know.

By the time you read this is Nyotengu should be out for everyone for Ultimate. So get a glimpse of the Naughty Tengu Princess in action.

Earth Defense Force 4 is taking the same approach to current-gen with 4.1 coming to PS4/XBONE as well. The same is happening for 2 which is coming to the Vita as well being upgraded from the PSP version.

Salt & Sanctuary is the next Ska Studios project and looks to be taking on the Metroidvania this time. If The Dishwasher & Charlie Murder are any indication of quality then this should be just as good if not better. Keep an eye for it coming to PS4 soon.

A sequel to Costume Quest is coming and it looks to be just as sweet as the last one. Can't wait for it.

Dragon Quest Heroes while being a collaboration between Square Enix & Omega Force is not a Musou game but is an Action RPG. Not my words.

Finally a bit of gameplay of Let It Die but I'm still missing Lily Bergamo though.

Looks like that Highschool DxD game is a F2P game for the Vita so if you have a JP SEN account then you get it too. You can access it through the SEN Web Store HERE!

What did I get into this week?

I played a bit of Lethal League and Super Time Force Ultra. I didn't get to play the Mighty No.9 Beta because my PC's so old it can't even start it. I played the JP PS2 version of Dead or Alive 2 for reasons. I also played the demo for the 8-bit Mega Man Legends 3 fan game and you can do the same by clicking THIS and type dash3 in the field to get this for yourself. I'm enjoying it so far and here's hoping they get this all the way done.

I got a chance to watch Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge and for a prequel to everything that was the 1st movie it was pretty good. It did a little bit to tie it to the 1st movie but it does destroy a lot of what that movie built and that's good and bad. It does a great job of being something standalone but connected so if you need to kill 90 minutes and need some action then give it a go.

The usual suspects are going hamster right now! The way the characters I enjoy watching & reading about are solving their problems right now is super awesome! So much is that I don't even want to name names but the folks who tune in every week know the dirt I get into on the regular so if you aren't familiar then read some past installments.

#TheCool: Waste Not, Want More!

Another week down, another episode of #TheCool to encapsulate it all! It is always great to see you in my mind scape but I won't stall anymore so let us get to work.

Now before we do that I just want to take a note of something that I've noticed. The last installment of #TheCool didn't do all that fancy pimping of the content within and the numbers showed it. And then I remember why I did it. 2 of the major things I touched on last time were the passing of Robin Williams and my "I don't give a fuck about what's happening in Ferguson" stance. Now I could've easily made those focal points to garner non-essential attention but why do so? I understand that at the end of the day why this even exists. I need a place to express myself as freely as I can while not breaking laws of any kind and I feel that I do just that. It makes writing this a whole lot easier and the same stance of making videos when I want to. I don't have to be a show pony like others out there and because I have that freedom to do what I want, when I want is that I see those who've had to relegate themselves to show pony status. I never want my work to become that and I go to great strides to keep the focus and vision clear. I just want to record my life and tell my story to those open enough to hear it. I leave this work behind for my boy to know who his father is & was. I don't ever want my work to become something I do because its part of the grind of just doing it. I want to continue to enjoy what I do and never want to lose it. So thanks for continuing to support me while I tell these tales.

We live in a world where a legitimate Pokémon fighter exists! Pokkén Fighters has been known about for a while but yesterday it became real. Lucario and Machamp are the 2 featured characters we know about at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see Blaziken or Pikachu seeing as any Pokémon is viable according to Harada. I will be keeping a close eye on this and when this hits arcades know that #DoaGHThaDOJO will have all the footage.

Azure Striker Gunvolt just dropped in Japan will be out Friday in MURICA! Just know for 90 days after release is if you buy the game you get Mighty Gunvolt an 8-bit adventure for free with your purchase so be sure to cop it before then or you can wait and get it separately later on.

I'm hype that one of my favorite indie games is getting a sequel in Protect Me Knight 2. I'll be honest in the fact that the only reason I bought the first one was because this is an Ancient joint which is headed up by one of the Based Gods of VGM in Yuzo Koshiro. In that I found a fun & awesome game and by CLICKING THIS for the low price of $3 can get in on some of this as well. I have no clue when 2 is coming but I'm glad it isn't to XBLIG. A great platform for what it provided but all the bullshit restrictions really kept me from buying more from it. If you see a game on XBLIG that interests you then check out the developer's website and see what other avenues you have for purchasing the game other than XBLIG seeing as you have to be online for the game to even boot. Always online didn't begin with the #XBONE! The more you know!

Speaking of indie games is that Lethal League just dropped on Steam for $13.99. Been interested in this one since I've seen it make the Giant Bomb rounds. Looks like awesome stuff. I'll have to get the rest of the crew on it. You can get yours RIGHT HERE!!

This week in Persona is huge because of Ultimax dropping in Japan so have a bunch of character features for both the Japanese & MURICAN releases featuring Shadow Labrys, Sho, Margaret, Chie, Ken and Koromaru & Labrys!

If you need a refresher course on the basics of Ultimax then these tutorials should do the trick.

Just know for the 1st week in MURICA is that Tohru & Marie will both be free to download. So make sure to download them both when they hit both XGS & PSN..

Blade Arcus from Shining is expanding the roster a bit to include Fenrir and Roselinde from Shining Blade & Melty and Isaac from Shining Hearts. This game will actually, maybe come out at some point. #DoaGHThaDOJO will be on it if that event should ever transpire.

OneeChambara Z2 Chaos will be out on October 30th in Japan and this trailer is all about the first-print costumes for all 4 ladies. If you're even thinking about this game at all then get those pre-orders in now. The past has shown that getting a hand on a first-print copy with DLC like this becomes harder to come by after release so be sure to keep that in mind.

What have I been up to this week?

I copped Super Time Force Ultra and haven't played it yet because I've been too busy to do so.

I played Rockman: Power Battle Fighters on PS2 for future research purposes.

I've been peeking into the Every Simpsons Ever marathon and remembering old episodes I used to watch back in the day on Channel 30. Memories and such.

I watched the Kamen Rider Wars movie and it did its job for being the annual SHT movie and some crazy Faiz closure for whatever reason.

I watched the newest installment of History of Power Rangers all about Operation Overdrive. All it did was remind me how forgettable that season was outside of Once a Ranger. You can watch Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 & Part 4 and hear Linkara's take on it all.

I got back into Freezing and now I know how to stay there. Put on podcast, go read Freezing, ?????, PROFIT! Can't lose with steps like that! With Naruto & Bleach ending soon is that I'll have to turn my attention to it and Akame ga Kill to fill in those gaps. I could finally get into One Piece which may be what actually happens but we'll see.

Final thoughts on True Blood. It ended. That is what happened. It ended. With not a bang or a whimper. It just ended.

Book 3 of Korra is done and that actually entertained me. Book 4 is going to be nuts and so is the game as you'll see in a bit.

The other usual suspects did work with Gaim in the final sprint to the end and I have no idea how you get this cleanly done in 5 episodes and make it meaningful but this show can do it and I'll afford it every chance to do just that. Dallas also went ham doing what they do as well. Ray Donovan is still off the meat rack as it were. Naruto & Bleach are on hiatus and ToQger was there too.

#TheCool: Hello, Goodbye, Worst Behavior!

#TheCool's back & better than ever seeing as we never left but took a tactical break to get back to normal working capacity! I was actually considering putting out a skeleton installment just to not miss a week but my whole thing about quality and not having enough content to in my mind put together an installment of #TheCool. Because I waited on things is before we can even get to business at hand is we have to get to the business at hand.

I'm not a fan we have to start here but while I was away is that the world lost Robin Williams. A man that many admired & respected and I being one of those people. Entertained me for years and his energy will be missed.

Then I found out that same day that an awesome GAFfer named Hitokage left us too.

Just a cool dude and all these years I never knew how instrumental he was in the history of GAF. He was just an awesome dude all around and I'll miss his energy as well.

I guess this is where I'd talk about Ferguson seeing as this is happening in my hood but I have no comment, no feelings about the situation, nothing at all. Shit happens everyday. It isn't that shit happens but how you deal with the shit that happened is what truly matters. You guys know what's happening out there and I need say no more. Just keep that shit from me & mine and do whatever you want!

Now that we've taken care of that business let us move to something a lot more positive! When I got back to full power is that not soon after this happened...

#DoaGHThaDOJO hit that 1000+ subscriber milestone and I couldn't be prouder. #DoaGHThaDOJO is all about keeping the balance and I take that seriously. And it just so happened that I got a chance on GAF to express my thoughts and you can read it for yourself below.

I could easily say what you just did about everybody else on that's on the same hustle including some of those who do their business where you frequent.

However, it didn't start with me and nor will it end that way but being that one who picked that torch up so long ago, is still carrying it to this day, being leagues above "my competition" and giving a host of fighting games attention that wouldn't otherwise see it is hard fucking work!

The dichotomy of who & why has changed a whole lot since when it was a whole lot harder to view videos from Nico and wasn't the in vogue thing to do. It used to be a select few who provided that service for the sake of providing the service. The majority of those who do now either focus in on a certain game or games by a certain developer. Me, I've probably provided footage for damn near any fighting game you could name since 2007.

I do what it is I do because somebody has to be the other side of the balance and I don't mind it at all. When I see a reason to no longer provide the service I do then I'll stop but as long as the community needs the balance that the service I deliver provides it then I'll keep doing it.

My responsibility is to preserve history & be its voice and I take what I do very seriously! But that flows into every single thing I do.

This week in Persona brings us some character features with Mitsuru, Yosuke, Yu, Yukiko & a look at the Lobby system for the console release next week in Japan.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is coming to PS3 & Vita this November and you might want to be prepared to import because of all the licenses involved. But I'll see what SEGA does before pulling any pre-order triggers.

The "vampire" Raphael Sorel has joined the roster of Soul Calibur Lost Swords. Figured you might want to know.

Kamen Rider, Gundam & Ultraman are on the team up tip once again in Super Hero Generations. This reminded me that I never got around to Super Heroine Chronicle. I should correct that.

Highschool DxD has a new game coming soon to Vita. That's all.

With that forced time off I was able to get a lot done. Not the things that should've been done in my view. I didn't record a single episode of Super Metroid but that was because I was focused on other things and y'all know how I feel about bringing the best product to you. Most of my time was digging through my show and movie backlog during the TDW and I watched all those side Garo movies. The whole 1st season of Gravity Falls in 1 day. And even through all of that I did get into a couple of games like Shovel Knight & Aces Wild on PC, Final Fight Revenge & Rabbit on the Saturn & Crisis Beat on PS1 because I'm looking at those games for possible future projects so be sure to stay tuned for those when they happen.

Then I was able to get back to full working capacity and that's when the fun began. I had to gather everything that I missed from the usual suspects and watched all of that and they're doing what it does with Gaim, Korra, True Blood & Ray Donovan doing what they usually do. And I caught of Bunny Must Die on a Steam sale just on whim and I'm loving it so be sure to give it a shot. I'm looking at Amazing Princess Sarah since it just dropped on Steam today as well and I might get that too just because or I might download the demo off of XBLIG and give it a shot first before a payment commitment is made.

SummerSlam was watched. Stephanie looked sexy as fuck and Brock killed Cena! 3 cheers for both! 3 cheers for both!

In other news, Bully put Dixie through a table and nobody cared. A wasted table.

Of course we weren't going to close out this portion without the reminder that Dallas is back for the 2nd half of Season 3 and shit got nuts off the bat. I'm ready for whatever the show's gonna bring for the rest of the season.

In another example of WTF Konami, this was a remake of the original Metal Gear for MSX that Konami approved before changing their damn minds. Just WTF Konami?

In a double shot of Skullgirls is that the game finally gets a Did You Know Gaming vid & the Voice Actresses of Skullgirls take on Filia's story mode. Enjoy that!

It has been a wild week in the world of Hyrule Warriors because of all the info that we've learned about the title. The Nintendo Direct was a major source of information by really showing how the game is a amalgamation of Zelda & the Warriors series and confirming a lot of new characters & weapons that you can see in the trailers above that include new confirmations of Sheik, Ganondorf, Zant & Ghirahim as playable characters. The game drops in MURICA on September 26th.

The console version of Ultra is available now and while it comes with all the previous costumes as part of the package is the Summer Vacation costumes will be available next week and some of those costumes are great especially Poison, Guile & Gief for their special reasons. No price point known at this time but they'll be out next week on the 12th.

Speaking of fighters is that French-Bread finally put out the Nanase & Byakuya tutorial videos and they're included in the other ones in the playlist above. Be sure to make use of them.

I never thought I would type "This Week In Digimon" on this blog but here we are. This week in Digimon brings us not only a new Cyber Sleuth trailer but the announcement of Digimon: All-Star Rumble coming on November 14 (Insert Smash Mouth reference here). And on top of that in unrelated gaming news is that there's going to be a new installment of Digimon Adventure that follows a 17 year-old Tai but how this actually flows into what has been established by canon is unknown. Hype as fuck though!

This week in Persona brings us some Ultimax character features starring Akihiko & Aegis!

This week in Gundam is bringing a whole bunch to the table. New DLC for Full Boost should already be out at the moment with Chang Wufei in the Altron, Garrod Ran and Tiffa Adill in the Gundam X & Rondo Mina Sahaku in the MBF-P01-Re2AMATU Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina Custom.

And not to leave Maxi Boost in the dust is Chan Agi in RGZ-91 RE-GZ,

Riddhe Marcenas in RX-0(N) Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn,

There's a big update for Chrono Phantasma coming that will add Celica & Lambda-11 that will be in arcades soon.

The sequel I know I wanted and so did you with OneeChambara Z2 Chaos coming to the PS4 later this year. Kagura, Saaya, Aya & Saki are all here for the sequel and its going to be good. Might be my reasoning to get a PS4!

And of course there's a new Bullet Girls trailer. Just watch it because who really cares what it is actually about?

I really didn't get into much gaming wise other than trying to get back into Robotrek after reading the HG101 article about it because I think I might have rented the game when I was younger. So if I actually make any headway with it I'll be sure to let you know.

Because I'm on Technical Difficulty Watch is that I actually got a chance to watch stuff. I finally finished Garo: Makai Senki and for a show that I thought I had figured out really turned the tables on me plot wise near the end and I satisfied for my time spent. I plan to watch all the side movies and get into Yami o Terasu Mono & Makai no Hana after that.

I also watched Justice League: Doom & Flashpoint Paradox and they were both awesome condensed versions of the comic arcs. You'll always get the full feel from reading them but those movies get the main point across wonderfully well. I got War, Son of Batman & Assault on Arkham on deck and I'll be getting into those soon as well.

The usual suspects did work except for Gaim & ToQger which are on break this week. The countdown for the return of the 2nd half of Season 3 of Dallas is approaching now that I think about it and I'm hyped for that come back. Bleach & Naruto are delivering the goods on the manga front with Naruto leaving me more questions than answers but that's the norm.
