The Playstation Experience of PSX as it were happened and there were some things we are now privy to! So, let's see if that list was built.

This is Street Fighter 5. Looks a lot like Street Fighter 4. This is sad because it shows that Capcom isn't down with taking a risk but feeding the streets more of the same. This should've been Darkstalkers or Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 or Rival Schools or Capcom Fighting All-Stars! Just anything but this. I'm going to play it. I have to own a PS4 to do so. But unlike 2008 when that first SF4 article dropped and I was excited beyond belief now I could care less about that game and this one. This is what 6 years does to people. I'll be tuning in to Capcom Cup to see the gameplay live for myself and we'll see if I can be swayed from my current position.

Speaking of "needing" a PS4 to play something is Ultra SF4 is coming exclusively to PS4 as well and I'm not caring too much about this either. Good for those who stayed begging for it and now you have it. Revel in it.

Persona 5 is now a PSTRIPLEQUADRUPLE release now! So you'll be able to get it no matter how you do.

YAKUZA 5! #BUILDDATLISTBAYBEE! Justice was served, digitally. I have no idea how I get this on my shelf but I'm glad we have it. Let's see if everybody making noise about it actually shows up to support this awesome endeavor.

And that was PSX. At least the parts that I actually pay attention to. Shovel Knight is also coming to PSTRIPLELIFEQUADRUPLE with an additional Kratos boss fight but I've already had my SK fix so I don't know if the double dip will happen here but you never know.

What Did I Get Into This Week?

Played a bunch of Ninja Gaiden as you know and a bunch of Rockman 4 Minus Infinity as you now know! Enjoyed the hell out of both and will play more soon!

I know y'all been waiting for this! Winter Break is here so this a perfect time to take a look at where shows are and where I hope they'll go when they come back from break!

Gotham's been on break for a minute and I didn't even notice. I will say this much. This show is great at setting up the what we know and shaking it up enough to keep you guessing at what's going to happen next. Where the show left is interesting for multiple reasons including getting some very important character development for a very special character so I'll be very interested in seeing how's that's handled in the 2nd half of the season.

The Originals stays going hamsterdom! Where the show went before the break was a very brief calm and a huge storm to follow. The 2nd half of the season has a lot of things that need to be dealt with and the show stays good at dealing with things and being entertaining while doing so. I'm ready for the 2nd half and whatever it shall bring.

The Flash being some of the best TV isn't a surprise. Knowing that the show is going to deliver on the promise of being some of the best TV isn't either. I look forward to watching this show every week and I know the 2nd half is going to be great and continue to build on this strong foundation of great characters and storytelling.

Arrow still beasting and where the show is right now is the best place could be. The 2nd half of the season is going to really embrace the possibilities that having The Flash as a part of this universe and this I love! Bring it on!

The Vampire Diaries has done a great job of establishing actual threats since Klaus left for Nawlins. This season is no different and the direction the show's going is the way it should be heading. The one thing I don't agree with is that the 2 shows don't interact as much as they should and in other cases where a problem could be solved by a character on another show and they completely ignore the possibility but I know why this is but I'll lodge the complaint anyhow. The 2nd half is going to be good given where the show is so I'll be waiting for its return as well

What Did I Get Into This Week?

Played a bunch of Azure Striker Gunvolt! What I mean by this is play the intro stage trying to get a S+ and still currently working on it. Closest I got was a bit under 20,000 points so it is possible. I do understand that if I'd actually venture out to beat a boss I'll get a better gun for Gunvolt but if I'm just 20,000 shy then it can be done with what I have. Tune in next week to see if I make the grade!

Mighty Gunvolt is the business! Played a bit of this as well but haven't picked up the DLC quite yet because of trying to get that S+ but I enjoyed what I played of it and the update does wonders for making the game more enjoyable so a must get for any 3DS owner I say!

To answer last week's question, I did play more Smash. On the 3DS because I was out and had some time for a Smash Run or 2 with Shulk. Know this, the WiiU version is getting played! Just not by me. I have a feeling you'll be seeing the fruits of this exchange soon.

In the I Found It On Accident Moment of the Week is TifaTanX2! This game is nuts! Shouts to HG101 for putting me on it! I didn't think I'd be in the lab deep on a game like this but this is the situation right now. Flash vs Arrow! This first crossover event delivered the goods! They did go the self-contained route though by having separate stories but I have a feeling future events will do the more traditional 2 shows 1 storyline crossover! As I always say with crossovers is that the point is to make both properties look their best and this did just that and then some. The fanservice was in full effect everywhere and where the shows go forward and my thoughts will have to wait until next week when the Winter Break begins and I can give a full status report on where all my favorite shows are!

Got a chance to finally watch Highschool DxD New and it delivered the goods again! As I've said before the anime is perfect for fleshing out the light novels to bring what you've read full circle. No idea if a Season 3 is coming but I hope so!

Finished Garo: The One Who Shines In The Darkness and that went places! Places for the sake of the narrative that it needed to and I'm so glad to hear we'll be seeing more of Ryuga and the crew sometime next year. A must watch. Next for me is Shougeki Gouraigan and then Garo: Makai no Hana after that! Can't wait for that goodness!

Wrestling has been abuzz this week with not only CM Punk finally breaking his silence as to why he left the WWE but Vinnie Mac Diesel was on Stone Cold's Podcast this week speaking about the current state of the WWE and some must listen stuff for any wrestling or sports entertainment fan.

I've been playing DAT SMASH and loving it! Just so you know I'm rocking some ZSS & Shulk with Ike & Ness holding down the fort like always though! That was Friday. I played the game a bit on Saturday to unlock the rest of the stages and haven't played the game since. Be sure to tune in next week and see if I get back to playing it.

I also got a chance to play Time Crisis 4 with a GunCon3 and just WTF at that FPS mode! That nonsense is garbage and waste of a great peripheral! No wonder the re-release had PS Move support. GunCon2 is still based though! Shouts to Vampire Night and Time Crisis 3 on the throwback movement! RIP Northwest Plaza TILT!

I did dabble into something else but I'll keep that to myself until the time is right.

Super Megaforce. It sucked! The Legendary War sucked! The extended edition of the episode sucked a tad less! This show was a disgrace to Power Rangers, Super Sentai and every fan of this franchise and Saban should be ashamed of their damn selves! Dino Charge however is looking to be the business though. Maybe it won't suck at all! We shall soon see.

The usual suspects are doing what they do with The Originals on clown mode and Flash & Arrow ready to hit the Crossover Age running and shooting head first. So hyped for both!

Shouts to ME!ME!ME! and the drug induced high I suffered from watching it. This is just some damn good animation a must watch with the NSFW warning though! ENJOY!!!

Brought back so many memories and even some clarity watching some of my favorites being played by players I remember watching back in the day long before my disdain for the FGC set in. Business is business but I hope that more throwback tourneys are in the future because I'll watch and support those over what we currently get! MEMORIES!!!!!

Been a while since we've had a featured #SSMG but it is timely being the Spiritual Predecessor in a special way to Blade Arcus from Shining. That game of course being Golden Axe: The Duel! I've played a bit of the Saturn version in my time and it functions well enough. Maybe I should give it another go and see if I can dig some cool stuff up. We shall see!

What Did I Get Into This Week?

I really didn't do much but some prep for Smash & Kakuto Chojin so be expecting both from me soon! You know it was some Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax involved and the game goes so if you're looking for something to get your fight on with then it does that very well. I'm due for some more lab time with it but it'll wait until after Smash fever comes and goes so I can give it the attention it deserves,

Video Game High School Season 3. It'll be a shame to see it go but I think going out on top is the best way to go. The whole series was great in all facets and if you haven't watched it then give it a shot. Above is all of Season 3 so if you need to head to the beginning then you'll have to find your own way there.

The usual suspects are always bringing the ruckus with nothing much to report right now. We're coming up on break time for a lot of them so expect some check-ins on some of my favorites in the upcoming installments.

I do want to take a brief moment and shout out Lucha Underground which has surprised me by being very entertaining. It does what wresting does but does it with its own style which brings a fresh feel to something I'm all too familiar with. Give it a go if you're looking for something different in your wrestling product of choice.

I also finally started Garo: The One Who Shines In The Darkness and it goes! I love how it doesn't have any ties to the old stuff at least for now anyway but when I get it all done I'll be sure to report back like I always do.

As far as I'm concerned is that I've been knee deep in Kakuto Chojin and I plan to demonstrate my wisdom of all I've learned really soon so be watching for that.

Because I had to turn the XBOX on to play that is I've just been playing around with it. Note to you, having a Modded OG XBOX is a thing you need. Still one the best all-around systems for all those needs if you can get a huge HDD for it. Figured I'd let you in on that bit of knowledge.

Naruto in manga form is done and I was satisfied with the way it wrapped up. I'll be real interested to watch the anime version of these events but seeing as I'm like 200+ episodes behind but I could skip through the filler portions though if it'll help. Tune in at some point and see if I actually take the challenge.

Halfway through Korra Book 4 and its delivering the goods! Go watch the show see why I'm so hyped for the 2nd half of Book 4.

In the Simpsorama vs The Simpsons Guy in what delivered the better crossover experience is I'm going with The Simpsons Guy. Simpsorama delivered a whole lot of fanservice for a long time fan of The Simpsons & Futurama and for those worlds of Matt Groening to finally cross was awesome but I think being 30 minutes and on top of that The Simpsons Guy just did everything a crossover is supposed to do just a bit better in this instance. I'm glad both crossovers happened though. They just needed to.

The usual suspects are doing what they do with Drive, ToQger, The Originals, Gotham, The Flash, TMNT, Hi☆sCool SeHa Girls, Arrow & Bleach holding down the manga front solo now always doing what they do!

Super Megaforce however stays failing and I can't wait until I no longer have to view this train wreck ever again except by choice in which I will choose not to view this again. Had to make the same point twice in a sentence just so you know how real it is.

I don't listen to as much Hip-Hop as I once did but even I can admit the Shady CXVpher went just baneeners dumb! When the last time I said baneeners!? Exactly!

There was Nintendo Direct this week where they announced Majora's Mask 3D and somebody's happy about that. They talked about amiibos a bunch and if you scan amiibo's in things you get stuff like the Spinner weapon for Link in Hyrule Warriors and other stuff in other things. Even with playing the 3DS version is that I honestly think that there could've been a better name picked for Duck Hunt. This would've given a great opportunity to name the dog and duck.

The only news that came out of this Direct that matters is Duck Hunt is coming to the WiiU Virtual Console. What this actually means is that the whole world will know the majesty of Battle Clash and Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge very soon! Heavy emphasis on the Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge portion! I've talked about my love of that game on many occasions and I still love it. I hope that this goes in the direction of Sin & Punishment and gives a second chance to a game that I believe deserves it! Wouldn't say no to S&P1 HD with Wii Controls & S&P3! Know this!

Speaking of play is that you see the title. Playing mad amounts of Smash Run. You get a full & enjoyable game experience in about 7-8 minutes and for that you can't lose. The 3DS version now more than ever to me is really making its own place to stand right beside the WiiU version as a complimentary experience which may have been the point all along.

RWBY: Volume 2! I wish I would've talked more about this but because how the show is distributed through official channels and how #TheCool works is that when it comes out is that I'd always be a 2 steps behind so I decided to approach it like this instead.

Loving see Monty Oum come up from Haloid & Dead Fantasy to his own IP. It does remind me of something I heard Jhonen Vasquez (the creator of the awesome Invader Zim) said about attracting an audience. It was more to the point of showing others your take on things that already exist to get them warm enough to introduce them to your original content and RWBY is a huge example of that process at work.

If RWBY isn't on your radar then it's be time to get it there. The video above starts right where you need to hop in and covers everything RWBY so no excuses! Enjoy!

I saw Sharivan: Next Generation and it was a huge step up from the Gavan stuff that dropped previously. A must if you're a Toku fan so you can appreciate it and I'm hyped for Shaider: Next Generation coming soon as well.

I heard how trash the last Zexal 3DS game was and the Arc-V game is releasing on PSP in the year 2014! Not as strange as you think it might be.

Yu-Gi-Oh was a mainstay in my life in both card game and anime form but I fell the card game pretty early because I saw what it did to people live & direct and Zexal never really caught on with me but I'll give Arc-V a shot when Tag Force Special drops next month and the dub comes this way. Couldn't hurt that much.

This has been The Block of Text About Triple Da G.O.D!'s History With Children's Card Games! Next time, we'll talk about how I was addicted to Magic the Gathering for a while and was able to beat the addiction by playing Metal Gear Solid 2 & Final Fantasy X! Be sure to watch for that!
