Mighty No.9 will be hitting the streets on September 29th at digital and retail. Those who backed the game are in a tizzy and rightfully so because it would seem that the physical release is something completely separate than anything doing with the Kickstarter. Should be interesting to see how it all hashes out.

June 11th will bring the Super Extreme Butoden and I'm hyped to get my hands on this after spending a lot of time with the demo. Here's hoping it holds up when it drops.

3 days after #DayoftheBasedGOD got even more packed with Chrono Phantasma Extend dropping that same day as well. More of what you expect from Extend editions and such. Good on you if you waited.

If another look at Ultra Despair Girls is what you wanted then here you go. Game drops September 1st.

Bringing her dance moves straight from The Velvet Room to P4D is Margaret. Game drops in Japan on June 25th & September 29th in the US.

Super Meat Boy is finally hitting that PSQUADRUPLE & PSLIFE at some point. Just thought you should know.

Beast Busters featuring KOF just got a Deluxe Update for both iOS & Android. Whatever that actually means. You can get either the iOS or Android versions by clicking their respective links.

Speaking of KoF. More Pachislot games because reasons. The shit that makes your soul burn slow. Looks way too good for this.

This is Jack-O. This was that mysterious character we spoke about in the last installment. Question now is who's the character that'll fill that spot in the bottom right corner of Revelator's character select screen? You'll know when I do.

Looks like Super Sonico will be a playable character after all. In the PS3/4 version anyway which means it'll reflect in the arcade at some point as well. I have no idea what this means for her as an assist character but as usual you'll know when I do.

I have no idea what this means for Saber either since we've heard nothing about her inclusion since they announced it. We'll probably get more info before the console release if an arcade update with her in it doesn't precede that first.

First Astronomical Velocity (the band Sonico lends her vocals to and plays guitar for) will perform the OP song Blasterz for the PS3/4 version as well.

Coming soon to Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax from Heavy Object is Quenser Barbotage, Milinda Brantini & Heivia Winchell. You'll be controlling Quenser and Millinda & Helvia will be backup similar to Choi or Maori's sisters. Should be fun to see this in action.

Froleytia Capistrano as well from Heavy Object will be joining the game as an assist character.

What Did I Get Into This Week?

More #DayoftheBasedGOD prep work as has been the norm lately. It would seem that my initial plans aren't as steady as I hoped seeing as I have another possible game in mind but it may be a game time decision on what you see but there will be something to see.

I still plan to have Super Metroid finished before then no matter how it gets done. Surprisingly enough we don't have that much more to go. Let's make it to the finish and save that baby!

Power is back for Season 2 and it's going dumb right from the offset. The show picks right up where it ended and it's already getting good. Get familiar with Power if you haven't yet.

I skipped a marathon this week and I'm not sure if I'll be doing one this upcoming week either. Too much too do and with E3 right around the bend is that I'm getting ready for that as well. If anything is that I'm going to get as much Orange is the New Black as I can during the weekend because of Orange is the New Black.

Game of Thrones and iZombie will be coming to an end I'll be laying judgment as I always does so be sure to join us next time for that.

Shouts to the remaining usual constant suspects of Drive, Ninninger and Gold Storm!

Drive just hit the final powerup and the reveals of the how and why's are coming heavy and we'll be at end pretty soon. We do know the next rider is Ghost and we'll know in a couple of months what's really good with that.

Ninninger stays holding it down being good at what it does and doing just that.

Gold Storm is doing Gold Storm and that's all I can ask for. There's plenty left and plenty to go so bring it on!

THROWBACK CLASSICS IN FULL EFFECT MODE!

When one man headbutts another in during the 2006 World Cup Finals the internet makes the best of an interesting situation. I remember when the YTMND's of these start dropping. Nonsense and just laughter all day. Stuff still can garner a chuckle or 2 even now!

Fun Fact: Did you know in 2015 people are still making Sparta remixes to things? This surprises me because I thought this ran its course long ago. Anyhow please enjoy the OG video version and the best spinoff version of said remixes. Was also around for the flood of remixes that were all over YouTube at the time. A lot of the classic ones lost to time because YouTube gotta YouTube.

I have no idea how I ran up on this again but I remember April Fool's Day 2009 when somebody posted this in SRK GD. Good times, man! Good times!

#PocketChange: The Mega Man Legacy Collection: Re-Building the Blue Bomber From the Ground Up?

The Mega Man Legacy Collection. A certain game company remembers the Blue Bomber again. Happy Days!

This collection is supposed to from the ground up rebuild the first 6 NES titles for 1080p SEXY TIME and all that other stuff people are used to in this day and age. If it actually does that in the end is to be seen but since this announcement I've seen the comparison between what this might do versus what the Anniversary Collection provided which then turns this into a magical game of possible quality vs already bad quantity.

The Anniversary Collection was nothing short of an abomination and disrespect of the classic series!

The Rockman Complete Works ports were just bad and the translations just made things even worse. When you can't put 6 PS1 games on a PS2 DVD that were slightly modified NES games to begin with then there's a problem here.

Mega Man 7 missing the proper ending on top of just being down right embarrassing SNES emulation was just sad.

Mega Man & Bass being missing even given that there was a translation available to use was and still is inexcusable.

8 wasn't the superior Saturn version but this I can excuse given that to this day that Saturn games are still a bit hard to crack open and properly get together for current use.

The Power Battle & Power Fighters emulation is just a step above the emulation present in Final Fight Streetwise and that was just horrible period. This also given that Power Battle Fighters came out a couple of months later on PS2 in Japan after the PS2/GC versions of Anniversary Collection and is a completely different experience all together for what it provides.

Don't forget the whole we were going to do a GBA one but stuff happened so it didn't either.

Regardless of all this is that the Legacy Collection is just the feeler for Capcom to see if there's demand for this. This probably has a better shot that Darkstalkers Resurrection ever did or would.

This does bring up the question of where should this goes from here if it sells what Capcom wants it to.

If what Digital Eclipse claims to be doing here is what they believe they are is that translating Rockman 7 and Rockman & Forte would be the place to start seeing as Rockman 7 has a bit more content than its Mega Man 7 counterpart and regardless of what that content provides is that most don't even know about the Roll & Auto weapon conversations and it would be nice to see those fully translated and legally available.

Rockman & Forte needs a translation for the SNES version because having the GBA version of Mega Man & Bass out there and available doesn't cut it at all as a proper representative of that's game's content.

Having the Saturn version 8 simply because it is the definitive experience! Nothing more needs to be said on the matter.

Taking another shot at both The Power Battle & The Power Fighters arcade games with what Power Battle Fighters provides plus all those bells and whistles that are added to arcade ports so a definitive experience for both games are available legally to those who want it.

Will the GB, X or Zero collections follow this? Other Capcom series? We shall see.

Mega Man Legacy Collection will release this Summer on PS4/XBONE/Steam this Summer and the 3DS this Winter. You can read more about this game via the blog post about this game on Capcom-Unity.

The 1.07 update for Estival Versus just dropped and as promised added Rin & Daidoji for free and coming the next couple of months will bring

the pictured above Ayame from New Wave in July, Ayane from Dead or Alive in August, Hakufu Sonsaku, Uncho Kan’u, and Housen Ryofu from Ikku Tousen in Septemeber and a mysterious character in October. When this DLC is available for the game in Japan I'll let you know and as of now there have been no announcements for localization for either the US or Europe. LIFE AND HOMETOWN FOREVER!

On June 2nd Kazumi Mishima will be joining the cast of Tekken 7!

Joining the cast of Dissidia Arcade is Final Fantasy III's Bartz Klauser & Final Fantasy VIII's Squall Leonhart.

Killer Instinct Season 2 has come to its end with adding Aria who's available now for those who have the Ultra Edition and will be available for everyone else on June 4th,

Available now for all KI players is the Shadow Mode. It is really like Tekken's Ghosts taken to a whole new level. It does what you do. From what I've seen it does what's advertised and will be a great way for players to learn and continue to improve. Great stuff.

Tanya will be joining MKX on June 2nd for all with the Kombat Pack and will be available for everybody else on June 9th.

What Did I Get Into This Week?

More prep for #DayoftheBasedGOD because that's just what I do! Trying to get some things finalized for it so be ready when its time!

Reign Season 1 was off the meter! The show at some point just went extremely dumb and Season 2 I don't think will fail me in that respect either! Go and watch that ASAP!

I'm trying to get some marathons together and I know what I'll be watching so when I do watch something I'll drop the verdict for you.

Elimination Chamber was the best PPV the WWE put on in a long ass while. It may have something to do with this...

Cena did that favor for Kevin Stee-Owens and made him look very good in the process. This is a Match of the Year candidate because Cena & Owens brought the house down! What the future holds for Kevin Owens once he heads up to the main roster remains to be seen but he's going to continue to be something to watch as he has been for years!

The rest of the PPV was solid but Ambrose/Reigns and the Tag Team EC Match stood out above the rest as great matches on their own merit. Must watch matches.

The usual suspects are holding down the spot as they should and it is more than appreciated! Thanks!

What this means for the PS3 or any other version is also unknown at this time and any information on that when it drops is I'll have it for you right here!

What Did I Get Into This Week?

More #DayoftheBasedGOD prep work so I'm keeping that all to the chest for now! Expect that goodness to bear fruit soon!

With The Flash finale behind us, the premise of Legends of Tomorrow & the Supergirl pilot in the streets is the DCTVU is looking bright! I knew when The Flash was coming the point was to bring some footing of super powers to an universe that was grounded into the version of reality that Arrow built up is that now its just popping off on all sides! Season 2 of The Flash is going to be that business but is it going to live up to one of the best 1st seasons I've ever witnessed? Read #TheCool around this time next year to see if it does.

Supergirl went dumb. There are some questions I have but I'll trust the show to answer them. Given what the pilot provided is that I wouldn't count on the Arrowverse crossover anytime soon. I think there has to be another season of the Arrowverse shows to catch up to where Supergirl may be in its timeline. I'm looking forward to watching this show when it drops for real so it'll be good to add this to the rotation!

GO AND WATCH RICK AND MORTY! Some of the best TV I've watched in quite a while. Show goes that dumb that I just love and I'm ready for more! Just watch it!

My next marathon target is Reign and y'all know my love for sex, murder & mayhem in my shows and Reign delivers. When I get fully caught up I'll let y'all know what's good on that!

YES!!! This is Axel Stone from a game called Streets of Rage! HOLY SHIT SOMEBODY REMEMBERS!!! Something the last game should've done along with Honey from Fighting Vipers. This has brought my hype up 100 fold! One character feature can make all the difference! Now get him in the sequel to Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax to bring this full circle! I wonder who else's is going to be in? Game won't be out until the end of the year so there's plenty of time for anything to happen.

Under Night In-Birth: EXE:Late[st] is coming to a hood far away from you because that's how networked arcade machines work!

This lovely lady above is Phonon who is the new character coming to Late[st] along Byakuya & Nanase from the PS3 version who will be joining her in this update.

Along with them is a new gameplay system called the Cross Cast Veil Off which will allow you to activate Veil Off during Vorpal in the middle of offensive pressure for 100 EXS. This will open up a lot more offensive options for the cast and it'll be interesting to see Phonon in action as well.

You won't have to wait long for such things because there will be a Loke Test from May 22nd to the 24th so hopefully some footage comes out. Know that #DoaGHThaDOJO will have all tha Late[st] when this game drops for real! Be sure to watch out for it!

As we approach the release of Extreme Butōden is that we now know the roster which has way too much Gohan for my tastes but to be honest as long as Android 18 is available then I'm fine with the rest.

What Did I Get Into This Week?

Dabbling into some games getting ready to unleash this heat on the streets so be sure to be ready when all this hotness drops!

JUDGMENT TIME!! How did these seasons fare?

The Originals. I had my doubts that the show could hold all that potential and yet here we sit with Season 3 going to be some compelling TV. Klaus relocating to Nawlins has been the best thing to happen to both shows as I'll let you in on in just exactly why in a second.

Arrow. Arrow stays going GOT HAM but I really felt the finale felt a bit lacking in comparison to the previous 2 seasons. Don't get me wrong it beasted but how it went about said beasting left a bit to be desired. The show seems to going in a different direction for Season 4 so we'll see if that holds or not.

The Vampire Diaries. If you didn't know is Nina Dobrev has left the cast and I really thought knowing this information would ruin Elena's exit from the show but the way the show handled it was a kind of a "Have your cake and eat it too" moment that I felt was a nice way to handle all of that. The show has set up next season with all the fallout and a threat that hopefully should keep the denizens of Mystic Falls busy and drama filled for quite a while.

I know I've mentioned this before but I'm not a fan of how shows for children are handled schedule wise!

Did I know that there was 5 days of new Girl Meets World episodes? Nope!

TMNT has been trucking for 2 months straight since their last hiatus and I had no clue it was even happening. I did get a chance to catch up on Girl Meets World & TMNT and here's the scoop.

Girl Meets World is handling the balancing act well of being a sequel series while keeping the focus on where it belongs and that I appreciate! What I appreciate more is there's going to be a lot more Eric because Will Fridele killed it on his return episode and the episode before that had a bit of OG Feeny with the New School getting in on some Feeny Call action which made me a happy camper! I have no clue when episodes will be returning but I'll be sure to keep a closer eye on things.

TMNT after they did that thing I loved that they did continued to do more things like that but not in the same way. Like I've said before is I appreciate the continuity nods to all Turtle lore and the show does that with care while delivering a story you want to stay tuned to. Just keep doing more of this. And you heard this here first, Mikey will be in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5! Putting all the monies on it!

I also finally peeped Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts and while it is a long toy catalog movie is that it delivered on Batman action and that I can appreciate. Because of the time period and aesthetic they're going with is there was a allusion to Batman Beyond and it make me wonder what will they do with that in the future if anything at all. There's a sequel to this dropping later this year and some shorts after so I'll be sure to check those out when they drop as well.

Flash is tomorrow and I almost delayed this installment so I could cover all of it in one go but we'll just talk about it next time. Something, something, Legends of Tomorrow! I wanted to feature it in What I Watched on the Internet This Week but too many spoilers for Flash & Arrow so I won't. That's going to be nuts but if you haven't been on either show then I suggest skipping the trailer until you are because said trailer is a mega-spoiler for both shows so beware of that.

Supergirl is going to be that business too but couldn't find an official HD link for the trailer to embed so go peep that as well.

WWE Payback wasn't half bad until that horrible Main Event finish! We'll see what the fallout is on RAW!

The rest of the Usual Suspects did what they did with Sailor Moon Crystal, Game of Thrones, iZombie, Drive & Ninninger going dumb as usual! I'll have some final thoughts on Garo: Gold Storm next week so be looking out for that as well.

Given where this is at the time of my writing this proves the following as such. The streets don't need more of the Blue Bomber? Mighty No.9 had a successful Kickstarter in 3.5 days! Collect-a-Thon's aren't hot anymore? Yooka-Laylee hit a million less than 24 hours! Here comes IGA with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and it met its goal in 3.5 hours! All in all is game companies don't know shit about what its fans want at all! I didn't say this. People acting like Phillp J. Fry with their money did! Here's hoping that Koijma is next! I don't know however how much money he'd need for a Kickstarter to honest.

Seriously though, if you enjoyed the IGAvania games and want more of it then be sure to show the world with your wallet! You can do so right HERE!

Splatoon had a Nintendo Direct and if you weren't sold on the game before then this may be your tipping point. There was also the Global Testfire that was testing the online and getting a chance to actually play Splatoon was pretty great even though handling your business with the gamepad wasn't as nice as I liked. I want to play more so I will be doing that when the game drops!

In other news, Yoshimitsu is Cthulhu or challenging his inner Shuma-Gorath but I do like the new outfit. They always impress every game and good to see a tradition upheld!

What Did I Get Into This Week?

It was time for some OG XBOX maintenance and I'm overdue for upgrading the HDD in it and once I get the funds I will be definitely be doing that!

Once's finale did the job of closing out Season 4 but putting hype in the air for Season 5. The last 5 minutes of the show set up what's next in a way I can appreciate! This Fall. This Fall!

The Originals, Arrow & Vampire Diaries are on finale duties this week with The Flash following next week so judgment calls for all so you'll know how everything faired when the time comes!

Shouts to Drive and the first Secret Mission episode of Type Tokujo. Here's my thing though. There's a lot of story which the show needs to have normally without having to buy Blu-Ray movies or going to a theater to watch a crossover movie for a special prize. Japan is weird. The end. What Did I Get Into This Week?

I've been playing a whole bunch of the Dragon Ball Z: Super Extreme Butōden Demo and it goes hamsterdom! I really hope this doesn't get passed over like Ultimate on DS was for whatever reason. I'm thinking about importing it if I don't hear anything about a localization at E3. But with all the crossover with Resurrection F is I don't think it'll be left on the table. We shall soon see.

Pac-Man v Money! Mayweather outboxed Pacquiao and that's all there is to it. I enjoyed every time Money wanted to dap and give a hug because it showed he isn't the bad guy he portrays himself as. I think he'll go for 50-0 and #50 will be Pac-Man/Money 2 because why wouldn't you go for the humongous pay day again and be able to retire on the top of the game in that way!

Got a chance to see the 3 Gaim movies, Great Soccer Battle! Golden Fruits Cup! and Gaiden: Zangetsu & Baron and they serve their purposes to mostly bring a close to the series with Full Throttle being the end for Gaim which drops later this month so a sub shouldn't be far off from that. Great Soccer Battle is just another example of how the impact of not watching something when it comes out because of what this movie does even if you don't realize it is doing that. The Gaiden movies are just more Gaim and they're set in the earlier part of the series where the spotlight was fully on Kouta and it gives a chance to answer questions about some the more mysterious characters so if you're looking for that world building then the Gaiden movies serve that purpose very well.

Highschool DxD BorN is part of FUNimation's Broadcast Dub initiative and I'm glad for that because I don't have to wait for a Blu-Ray release to get more of what I want. So I'll be keeping the weekly vigil for it so if you're interested then be sure to check out the 1st 2 seasons and then get into BorN when you're done.

The usual suspects are handling business and the end is coming. Next week I'll have the final verdict on Once Upon a Time and we'll be slowly sending shows to their summer breaks thereafter so be sure to be here when it goes down!
